DEDICATED TO RENZO – 1992 – 70×100
The photographic frame of the painting is not causal. The work was born during a collaboration between the Artist and Renzo Bertasi, in occasion of an exhibition in the early Nineties. Perversi, working on a black and white photo, wanted to give colours to a rural scene. The effect is nostalgic and deeply melancholic, it arouses the curiosity of the spectator, that is invited to investigate and imagine the story of the cyclists, through the suggestion about their way to the gleaning, as the just cut corn field tells us.
